Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday October 30 and clocks will be turned back an hour at 2 a.m.Since 1986 the last Sunday of October has been the date to set clocks back an hour. The concept of Daylight Saving Time is to make better use of daylight during summer months. Clocks get turned back in the winter because the sun sets earlier and people need more usable daylight.
