A 69-year-old visitor from the UK was pronounced dead in hospital after Police were called out to an Admiral Walk, Southampton home yesterday afternoon over reports of a man in distress in a swimming pool.

Police are investigating the drowning death of John McQueen but do not consider it suspicious. No further details were available by presstime.
