Tucker?s Point hits 93% occupancy

The first year of the Tucker?s Point Residence Club has seen an occupancy level touching 93 percent at certain times of the year and averaging out at 77 percent.

The popularity of the fractional ownership villas has been so high that nearly all of them have now been sold in the 12 months since they were officially opened.

Ed Trippe, President of the Tucker?s Point Hotel and Spa, said: ?As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Residence Club we really celebrate the nearly 200 owners who believed in this community from the start.

?The Residence Club is our first tourism offering before the Tucker?s Point Hotel and Spa is completed in 2008 and we are confident its success is only a prelude of what?s to come.?

A second residence club is now being developed at Harbour Court as a result of the success of the Tucker?s Point venture, and when completed in mid-2008 will offer 14 two-bedroom and three-bedroom fractional ownership condominiums.

General Manager of the Residence Club at Tucker?s Point, Alan Paris said: ?During the first year our owners have told us repeatedly that our facilities and the staff?s friendly, quick and personalised attention have made each stay a great one.

?That kind of feedback is all the reinforcement we need to know we?ve got something special.?
