Two arrested after accidents
A Southampton man had a trip to the hospital and then the Police station after crashing his bike on Crow Lane, Devonshire, in the early hours of Saturday.
The 32 year old lost control near Corkscrew Hill junction and hit several road dividers. His bike was extensively damaged and he was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Upon his release he was arrested and taken to Hamilton Police station where he failed a breath test.
In a similar incident a 25-year-old Sandys man lost control of his blue Opel Corso on Middle Road, Southampton on Friday night. He hit the embankment and ended up in the opposite, eastbound lane near Lukes Pond Road. His car was extensively damaged. The man was treated in hospital for facial cuts before being arrested and taken to Hamilton Police station where he was detained after refusing a breath test.
