Two injured in violent attack

Two men remain in stable condition at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after being violently robbed in a city parking lot in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to Police reports, the Warwick men, aged 32 and 47, were discovered by Police bleeding profusely from what appeared to be head injuries just after midnight on July 27.

They told Police that they were in the parking lot on the corner of Dundonald and Brunswick streets when they said they were approached by two men who demanded their money.

They were subsequently beaten about the face and head with a helmet and another object. It is unknown how much money was taken from the victims.
