The second day of `Wanted' posters of David Burrows has garnered additional sightings but no capture of the escaped convict.

Wanted posters of the convict were posted on Monday with two pictures and details of Burrows including the fact that he is light brown complexion with black hair, and that he is approximately 5'9 and 160 pounds.

"There is no indication as of yet that the posters have increased the sightings because it's too early to tell right now," said Police media relations spokesman Robin Simmons yesterday.

The additional sightings have been in Dockyard and Somerset and the Police are still asking the public for help in the matter.

Burrows escaped Police custody 16 days ago when he broke out of the Arches in Paget. Police have been on the hunt for him ever since.

The Police would again like to remind the public that harbouring a fugitive is a punishable offence.
