Work shirts stolen from hospital
Forty-eight tan work shirts were stolen from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital sometime between December, 2003 and April 15, 2004.
The shirts which say 'Bermuda Hospital Environment Service' were extra large and double extra large. They were removed from a storeroom on the premises.
In other Police reports, a suspected drunk driver sped off when Police told him he was under arrest on Sunday evening.
Police said they spotted a man driving a car erratically on Trimingham Road, Paget and pulled him over.
The driver appeared to be drunk and when told he was under arrest drove off. The Police officer attempted to grab the keys out of the ignition but failed and fell to the ground, incurring minor injuries. The driver, a 33-year-old Paget man, was later arrested at his residence.
The man as one of four people who were arrested for drunk driving over the weekend.
There were three incidences of break-ins, one in St. George's, one in Hamilton Parish and one in Warwick.
There were 16 damage only traffic accidents and eight resulting in injury.
And a rental helmet and $75 were stolen from a parked rental cycle on South Road, Paget near Elbow Beach on Friday.
The complainant, a tourist, told Police he left his cycle around 4.30 p.m. that day and when he returned the items were missing.
