Television viewers are informed they must unplug their cable boxes for 15 seconds if they suffer outages as Bermuda CableVision makes changes to its system today.

The Royal Gazette previously reported that people need to switch off their TV sets if they lose power as CableVision implements technical upgrades to pave the way for new digital services.

However, we have been asked to point out that affected people need to unplug their terminals — or cable boxes — for 15 seconds, rather than their TV sets.
