A car lost control on a bend at the weekend and smashed into a wall outside a Sandys home.

The damage happened on Sound View Road. Police do not know if anybody was hurt, because the driver left the scene before officers arrived, just before 4 a.m. on Saturday.

The abandoned car received extensive front end damage, while the wall was also badly damaged.
