Car overturns — but where is the driver?
Police discovered an overturned car in the brush off South Road in Devonshire on Saturday morning, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
Even a check at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital produced no results.
Police arrived on the scene directly opposite Demco Florist at around 7.15 a.m. on Saturday and an hour later motorists were still pulling over for a closer look, trying to determine how the driver could have flipped the car on a stretch of road without any curves.
Police said yesterday details of the crash remain unclear, although they have finally tracked down the car's driver.
The compact vehicle somersaulted through a hedge and a short fence before coming to rest on its roof.
The driver's side door was slightly open when Police arrived.
