A man admitted to having more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system after Police found him napping in the road.
Blaize Jermaine Burgess of Heathcote Hill, Sandys, was found to have 283 mg of alcohol in 100 millitres of blood on August 3.
The 25-year-old was found lying on his back in the road close to Double Dip Ice Cream in St. George, with his motorcycle on the ground next to him.
When questioned by Police, Burgess told them: "I'm just chilling".
Though he was miles away from home, he proceeded to tell Police how he thought he was doing the right thing by getting some sleep before heading home.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner gave the drunk driver a $1,000 fine and disqualified him from all vehicles for 12 months.
