A Pembroke man appeared in Magistrate's Court charged with possession of the controlled drug cocaine.

Raymond Troy (Yankee) Rawlins, of Court Street, pleaded not guilty to possessing 11.76 grams of cocaine freebase, also known as crack, with the intent to supply on March 12 in Southampton.

The street value is $3,700.

The 45-year-old was bailed in the amount of $5,000 and must report to the Hamilton Police Station on Tuesdays and Thursdays until he reappears in court for mention on March 24.

He is represented by Victoria Pearman.
