A reveller was caught by Police driving home from a nightclub while drunk, a court heard.

Amanda Pacheco, 27, overtook a Police car and was then spotted by officers as she drove across the road's central line several times on Sunday, October 22, at 3.55 a.m.

Crown counsel Carrington Mahoney said officers stopped her in Middle Road, Devonshire, and noticed her breath smelled of alcohol and her eyes were red.

Mr. Mahoney said officers arrested Pacheco after she told them she had consumed "three or four" drinks at Splash nightclub, in Bermudiana Road.

Pacheco, of South Court Avenue, Paget, admitted driving while impaired through alcohol and was fined $1,000 by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner.

She was also disqualified from driving all vehicles for a year.
