Minister of Education Randy Horton has reminded students that the deadline for applications for Government scholarships is tomorrow, Tuesday April 15.

He also outlined the full range of scholarships, awards and loans available as:

l Bermuda Government Scholarship- full tuition and accommodation allowance

• Bermuda Government Teacher Training Awards-$15,000 p.a.

• Bermuda Government Further Education Awards- From $1,500- $10,000 p.a.

• Bermuda Government Mature Student Awards- $15,000 p.a.

• Bermuda Government Interest Free Student Loans- from $1,500 - $10,000 p.a.

"I extend to all of our students who will be studying overseas the heartfelt support and encouragement of the Government and the Ministry of Education. It is our hope that 2008/09 is your best academic year yet," said Mr. Horton.
