A sick crew member was removed from a Canadian military support ship yesterday, Harbour Radio reported.

HMCS Cormorant , a 245-foot fleet diving support ship, was on her way from San Juan to Halifax when the crew member became ill, the spokesman said.
She stopped at Five Fathom Hole shortly after 8 a.m. and the sailor was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. There was no word last night on the condition of the crew member.
