BIBA produces new business brochure
aimed at promoting the Island as an offshire business centre.
The brochure will be available to Bermuda-based companies which can sue it as part of their marketing efforts.
The 15-page brochure features information on the Island's insurance business, mutual funds, trusts, foreign sales corporations, aircraft and shipping registers, as well as intellectual property and software.
"An important aspect of the overseas marketing programme that BIBA has undertaken is the production of marketing materials that can be used by all organisations involved in the Island's international business industry,'' said Mr. Cummings Zuill, BIBA chairman.
"Often smaller firms do not have the budgets to produce materials like brochures or videos and part of BIBA's marketing effort is to make sure that all organisations have access to quality, up to date materials.'' It was first used at the World Economic Summit, attended by several Bermuda representatives, at Davos, Switzerland last month.
"The purpose of the brochure is to position Bermuda as a premier business centre that provides leadership and expertise in a competitive marketplace,'' Mr. Zuill said.
"The information about the various products and services available to the international business client focuses on the depth of Bermuda's experience and degree to which the industry is responsive to the needs of international business client.'' There are five information sheets in production that are companion pieces to the brochure and can be updated as the industry changes.
