BUT confirms Senator's departure

As reported by The Royal Gazette last month, BUT president Michael Charles has taken over from Sen. Scott.

"The executive of the Bermuda Union of Teachers is pleased to announce that effective January 5, 1999, Mr. Michael Charles became our new general secretary,'' the union stated.

"Vice President, Anthony Wolffe, will be acting president until the Annual General Meeting.
