Car damaged in Pembroke

Officers early yesterday morning were asked to accompany a man to the Pembroke Parish residence of his ex-girlfriend where he could collect his belongings.
Once there, however, the man discovered the paintwork on his car, which was parked outside the woman's apartment, had been damaged with a pointed object.
On the car's trunk a message had been etched while dents were also discovered on the driver's side and hood. In addition the indicator lever had been broken and the windscreen cracked on the inside.
The ex-girlfriend admitted to Police she committed the offences and it is believed charges will be laid by the boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating a case of slashed tyres on two cars, one cycle, and one truck, which occured sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at the Somerset Country Squire.
Wilful damage was also discovered to four apartment mailboxes in the nearby Frith Building.
A short time later a resident of Runaway Lane, Boaz Village, reported to Police the back tyres of his truck had been slashed. Police have no suspects but are continuing their investigations.
BOY CAUGHT SHOPLIFING CRM Boy caught shoplifting Police were called on Wednesday evening to Leisure Time on Queen Street in Hamilton after store management detained a ten-year-old Southampton boy for shoplifting.
The youth had allegedly tried to conceal a video game under his clothing and triggered the theft scanners as he tried to leave.
Police escorted him to the Hamilton Police station and subsequently into the custody of his aunt.
MINOR INJURIES IN CAR CRASH AC Minor injuries in car crash Eastern CID were called out early yesterday morning to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Harrington Sound Road, just north of the Quarry Road junction.
The vehicle, a white Peugeot convertible, was travelling south along Harrington Sound Road when the driver lost control, striking the far side wall and causing the car to overturn.
The driver, a 37-year-old Smith's woman, received a cut to her right knee and a scratch on her forehead.
The car received extensive damage to its front and near side while about ten metres of the wall was damaged.
CASH STOLEN FROM HOME CRM Cash stolen from home Police yesterday reported a thief or thieves made off with a quantity of cash from Colony Valley, Southampton, home late on Tuesday night.
A 55-year-old complainant reported she and her husband were at home when their dog began barking around 10.50 p.m.
About ten minutes later she went upstairs and discovered someone had entered the house through an upstairs window and made off with a quantity of cash from her purse.
Police are continuing to investigate.
