The driver was heading west at about 1 a.m. when he lost control and collided with a wall before the car overturned, Police said yesterday.

The 35-year-old Sandys man was not seriously injured, but spent the night at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, Police said. The car was heavily damaged.

Also yesterday a 25-year-old Hamilton Parish man was taken to hospital with head injuries after he crashed his cycle on Middle Road in Devonshire.

The rider was heading east at about 3.45 a.m. and negotiating a left bend when he collided with a wall and crashed, Police said.

No other vehicles were involved in either accident.
