An ecumenical service will be held at the Anglican Cathedral which will focus on the growing significance of senior citizens. The 1.30 p.m. service is part of the United Nations Day for the Elderly.

The UN has set aside this day, to recognise the growth of this segment of the population, a Government statement said.
