Fight ends in a death
death of a 56-year-old Pembroke man.
Brownlow Place, of Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke, died after becoming involved in an argument with another man in a house in Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke, on Saturday night.
It is understood Mr. Place fell and hit his head on a table. He was rushed by ambulance to the King Edward VII Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
It is believed Mr. Place, who only recently returned to Bermuda after spending several years in the US, was living with his father, also Brownlow.
There was no-one at the house yesterday.
A Police spokesman declined to confirm details of the incident last night.
But he said that no weapons are believed to have been involved in the death.
And he added a 36-year-old man has been taken into custody and said that inquiries into the death are continuing.
