Several articles on Bermuda are scheduled to appear in Jersey-based Offshore News International, including a feature on Minister of Finance the Hon. David Saul and a report on the non-Bermudian property scene.

The magazine, which will come out every two months, has signed a distribution agreement with Hilton International, which will make the magazine available in the executive rooms, executive lounges, business centres and suites of at least 100 Hilton hotels in 37 countries.

Other distribution deals have been signed with international consultancies around the world, British Airways, and Forte Airport Services. In addition, the magazine will be directly mailed to 5,000 high-powered individuals around the globe.

Total distribution for the first edition for May/June will be 75,000 in 59 selected countries.

The editor of the magazine is former Royal Gazette journalist Mr. Peter Body, who now lives in Jersey.

Mr. Body was previously editor of Offshore Finance, an international financial magazine, and has written for leading publications such as The Times, of London; The International Herald Tribune, Expat Investor, Portfolio International and International Money Marketing.

Mr. Body said: "The aim of Offshore News International will be to dispel some of the myths surrounding offshore financial centres and explain the many ways in which individuals and institutions can use them to their advantage.

"Succinct news reports from more than two dozen of the world's major offshore financial centres will include details of new products and services, as well as significant economic and political developments.

"Leading figures in the world of offshore finance will be profiled in the medium to long term and the magazine will look in-depth at specific finance centres and financial institutions.

"Expert analysis of economic developments of importance in the medium to long term will be included and there will be features of more general interest to wealthy readers on subjects such as travel, international employment, property and collectables.''
