documents relating to a search of lawyer and former MP Mr. Julian Hall's law firm.

But no date has been set for a hearing, which will be in chambers, to review the circumstances behind the Police search, a Supreme Court official said yesterday. It is understood a document was seized in the October 22 raid of Hall & Associates offices.

A Police spokesman said yesterday whatever papers Mr. Hall was seeking in his action had been lodged with the Supreme Court.

Solicitor General Mr. Barrie Meade said he was still awaiting a hearing date from the Supreme Court Registrar.

Mr. Hall took out a writ last month against the Police Commissioner and Magistrate the Wor. John Judge concerning two search warrants taken out in October.

It referred to the Bermuda Constitution and the Administration of Justice (Prerogative Writs) Act 1978 and made application for orders of "certiorari and mandamus''.

It is understood Mr. Hall is bidding to quash the search warrants.
