And Wendell Lovell, 19, of North Shore Road, Smith's Parish, could face further charges once Police complete their investigations into a stack of other burglaries.
Smith, a student at the Adult Education Centre who lives with his parents and younger brother, appeared before Senior Magistrate Will Francis last week to plead guilty to ten break-ins which occurred in the last two months.
His catalogue of crime included breaking into numerous dwelling houses in Smith's and Hamilton parishes, stealing cash, electrical goods and jewellery.
But his crime spree was cut short following his arrest at the weekend.
He will return to court on December 16.
