Randall Walker, 36, was told he would have to await the findings of a long-form preliminary inquiry -- scheduled for December 10 -- before bail could again be considered.
Walker is charged in connection with an October domestic dispute which ended in the death of his uncle, 56-year-old Brownlow Place.
On the night of October 19, Police were called to a home on Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke, after a fistfight broke out between two men. In the incident, it is understood Place fell and hit his head on a table.
He was rushed by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police told The Royal Gazette at the time no weapons were involved.
