Man charged with attempted murder

Ronald Anthony Wayne Daniels, of Link Lane, was charged with attempted murder, attempted grievous bodily harm which led to an unlawful wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.

Daniels is said to have attacked Terry Lee Wood, the manager of the Market Place, in Hamilton Parish, with a 22-inch long machete.

Daniels is a married man with three children and was employed for two and a half years at the MarketPlace.

Magistrate the Wor. John Judge remanded Daniels in custody and refused an application for bail.
