Neville James Woods did not have to plead before Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner yesterday and was remanded in custody for two weeks.

Police have begun the process of indicting Woods for a future appearance before the Supreme Court.

Woods, 32, of Curving Avenue, is formally charged with robbery with a weapon -- a machete -- which carries a maximum sentence of ten years.

He was arrested as a result of an investigation by Central CID on Wednesday morning.
