The accident occurred on Middle Road in Warwick near the Belmont Hotel at around 6.30 p.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a left hand bend while traveling west, said Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning.

The Mazda van collided with the northern wall, veered across the road and collided with a Toyota Corolla traveling in the opposite direction. It then collided with the southern wall and rolled onto its roof.

P.c. Venning said both drivers were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with back injuries and both vehicles were extensively damaged.
