Parish man with serious wounds.

The 20-year-old victim -- who has not been identified -- was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with serious head and chest injuries.

The incident occurred around 2.15 p.m. on Sound View Road. Another Sandys Parish man is helping Police with inquiries.

A Police spokesman said: "The circumstances of this assault are not known.

The identity of the man is not known.''
