The man pleaded guilty to breaking into his father's Pembroke home on August 5.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Donald Grant said the accused's father left the home after securing it. But when he returned later he found that someone had broken in.

A tape deck, CD player, a Kenwood tuner, and a television were among the items that were missing, according to Sgt. Grant. They have all since been returned.

Sgt. Grant said he also told Police: "I did this because my father sexually molested me and got away with it.'' The man told Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. Edward King that his father also molested two of his sisters and his wife's daughter who is 15.

But he said they all dropped the charges.

"He told me in the past I did it and I'll do it again,'' the man -- who was clearly upset -- claimed.

Mr. King fined the man $250.
