For the Trust, which works to preserve places of historical or natural interests, has ventured into a different sort of place -- the World Wide Web.
By typing in www.bnt.bm visitors can tour the Trust's 65 properties, including nature reserves, museums, historic properties, and military cemeteries.
The site, designed and hosted by Logic Communications, uses striking photography and sophisticated graphics software to show the world some of the natural and man made treasures Bermuda has to offer.
It also shows location and open hours and provides information about all Trust properties, including Verdmont, Tucker House, Paget Marsh and Smith's Island.
An in depth environmental page, updated daily, contains the latest Trust news, including letters of objection to developments.
Trust Communications Committee chairman Dennis Sherwin said: "We want to be in touch with the world -- and have the world in touch with us. Equally important is direct communication with our members, school children, and potential visitors.
"While we believe our site is one of the best around it will undergo many changes and improvements,'' Mr. Sherwin added. "There will be more pictures, which will be `virtual tours'.
"Bermudians and potential visitors to the Island will be able to view 3D pictures of several Trust parks and historic sites, almost as if they were on site. The site will be updated frequently so there's plenty of reason to visit it often.''
