A 14-year-old boy was taken to Hamilton Police station and cautioned by officers in the presence of a guardian.

In what is believed to be a connected incident, a CedarBridge staff member lodged a complaint with Police about a student who verbally threatened her safety.

CedarBridge principal Ernest Payette said the two incidents involved a young man who had been suspended.

"He threw a rock at the building but the rock hit a window instead and we called Police because of the property damage,'' he said. "It was just a young man who had been suspended, got upset and made a nuisance of himself.'' Police were also investigating two fights which reportedly occurred at CedarBridge, one between two girls and another between two boys. Both reports were made to Police by parents of children involved.
