Scores of officers from three Police units were still scouring Bermuda last night for the 30-year-old from Paget.

He is accused of snatching his two-year-old daughter from her grandmother's house in Somerset at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

He burst into the house armed with a machete, grabbed the child and drove off on a motorbike.

And the youngster's grandmother said she even had a restraining order preventing the man from calling at her home.

The toddler was later handed over to the father's own grandmother.

And she, in turn, took the unharmed child to her mother in Somerset.

But the father is still in hiding -- despite being spotted by a member of the public yesterday.
