Police probing weekend thefts
A Police spokesman said a bag containing a Nokia cellular phone was taken from a car parked on Victoria Street, Pembroke around 7 p.m.
And around midnight, 15 bottles of Dewars White Label Scotch whisky and several bottles of Smirnoff vodka were stolen from Lindo's Family Food Market on Middle Road, Warwick.
Anyone who may have seen persons acting suspiciously is asked to contact Somerset CID at 234-1010.
Police are also appealing for assistance in locating a white, Ford Laser car -- license number 29552 -- which was stolen from the Devil's Hole area early Friday morning.
Anyone who knows the location of the car is asked to contact Police at 295-0011.

GOVERNOR TO VISIT SENIOR CITIZENS GOV SR Governor to visit senior citizens Governor Thorold Masefield will visit the Island's rest homes starting on December 9.
A Government spokeswoman said the Governor would visit Lorraine Rest Home and Lefroy House on December 9 and Matilda Smith Williams Seniors Rest Home, Palmetto Palms and Devonshire Parish Home on December 10.
On December 14 the Governor heads to Packwood Home and Sandys Rest Home and on the following day he visits Pembroke Parish Home.
On December 18 St. George's Parish Home hosts the Governor and on December 22 he visits St. Brendan's Hospital and King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
BOAT PARADE PLANNED MUS SLG Boat parade planned Fifty boats are to take part in the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute's Christmas Boat Parade on December 19.
The parade through Hamilton Harbour is forecast to be one of this holiday season's top events, featuring boats from runabout size to yachts over 100-feet-long.
All the vessels will be decorated with lights, holiday decorations, figurines and, in some cases, will feature animation and live characters.
The Marine and Ports tug Powerful is also taking part in the parade which will culminate with fireworks at White's Island.
The parade leaves the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club at 6.30 p.m. and will travel along the waters off Front street to the Hamilton Princess where it will cross the harbour to Salt Kettle and then back to RHADC along the Harbour Road shoreline.
ATM MACHINE THEFT CRM ATM machine theft Police have received a report that a man lost $100 when someone used his ATM card.
The man had forgotten the card in a bank machine and when he returned and retrieved it, he discovered someone had withdrawn the money.
The man was able to rectify the problem himself, but Police warned members of the public to pay attention when engaging in financial transactions.
