Police promote two more officers

Sgt. Tracy Adams, 27, joined the Force 10 years ago as a cadet, becoming a constable in 1986.After a spell in Central Uniform Division, he has been attached for the past seven years to the Criminal Investigations Department.

Sgt. Tracy Adams, 27, joined the Force 10 years ago as a cadet, becoming a constable in 1986.

After a spell in Central Uniform Division, he has been attached for the past seven years to the Criminal Investigations Department.

Sgt. Adams, who lives in Warwick with his new bride, has received a commendation from the Police Commissioner.

Also promoted is 27-year-old Michael DeSilva, who joined the Force in 1985 as a cadet and became a constable the following year.

He has worked in the Central and Western Uniform Divisions, Marine Section, and Outward Bound as an instructor.

Currently, he is attached to the Police Training School as an instructor.

Sgt. DeSilva lives in Southampton with his wife and young daughter.
