Radio Bermuda is calling Bermudians
North American communications programme.
Radio Bermuda was launched earlier this month. It is designed to give Bermuda an unprecedented, sustained presence in its key visitor markets with messages about the Island broadcasted twice a day on popular radio stations.
Tourism Minister David Dodwell said: "This is an impactful campaign that is about and for Bermudians.
"We feel it is a good idea to get some of those feelings of Bermudians into the advertisements, thus enhancing the uniqueness of the campaign.'' Local newspaper advertisements are set to appear next week inviting the public to provide material they feel would offer overseas listeners an insider's guide to the unique features, attractions and personalities that distinguish Bermuda.

"This will give us sufficient material for the voice and at the same time provide an opportunity for other Bermudians to appear in future commercials.'' The newspaper ads will be headed: "The tree frogs jumped at the chance to appear on Radio Bermuda. Now it's your turn.''
