mail in the wake of a Canadian Postal workers strike.
Postmaster General Clevelyn Crichlow said the Bermuda Post Office heard from their counterparts in Canada yesterday.
"They said to me that they do not expect the strike to go on for any length of time,'' he said. "However they will be in contact with me periodically to update me.'' Fortunately, Mr Crichlow said Bermuda received and sent out a realtively small volume of mail to Canada compared to the United States and the UK.
But he asked all residents to hold on to their Canadian-bound letters and cards until the strike is finished.
