The changes involve road closures, speed limit increases and restrictions in Hamilton Harbour during the Bank of Bermuda triathlon events this Sunday and the following Sunday.

The Ministry of Works and Engineering has stated that Crow Lane, from the North roundabout to the City of Hamilton's eastern boundary on Front Street, will be closed on both days between 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

And Spurling's Hill, from Crow Lane to Reid Street, will be off-limits to traffic during the same period.

In addition, there will be no parking, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., on the same stretch of Crow Lane and Spurling's Hill that is closed.

And parking will be prohibited from 7 a.m. on Reid Street, west of Court Street, Front Street, Crow Lane, Court Street between Church and Front Street, Queen Street, Church Street from Queen Street to Par-La-Ville Road, Par-La-Ville Road from Church Street and Front Street, and Burnaby Street between Church Street and Front Street.

Motorists will be barred from entering and leaving both the Front Street and Par-La-Ville car parks, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 11 a.m..

Spectators of the event will be able to park at City Hall and Bull's Head.

During the races, the speed limit on the part of the route on Crow Lane between the eastern city boundary and the north roundabout will be increased to 75 kph, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m..

For the swimming part of the course, Hamilton Harbour from Albouy's Point to White's Island, will be closed to marine traffic from 7.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. And in addition boat operators are asked to take extra caution when approaching the area.
