The 38-year-old victim claimed he was watching television when two men entered his house around 10 p.m. and attacked him.

The culprits gripped the man around his neck and repeatedly punched him in the face. They stole his wallet, a Citizen watch and a six-pack of beer before running off in the direction of Glebe Road. The victim was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

POLICE DRUG SWOOP CRM Police drug swoop Police arrested a Pembroke man during the early hours of Saturday following a Police search on Angle Street.

The man, 40, was said to be in possession of a `rock-like' substance, possibly crack cocaine.

A 48-year-old Southampton man was arrested late on Friday night after he was stopped on Border Lane in Devonshire. He was said to be in possession of cannabis and morphine.

And a Pembroke man, 33, was arrested on Friday night when he allegedly possessed drug gear.
