The three-man, nine-woman jury will decided if Antoine Darrell, of Kilderry Close, robbed Anton Stocker in St. George's on October 21, 1995.
Darrell was also charged with burglary and two counts of wounding with intent, but Chief Justice Austin Ward yesterday told the jury to return not guilty verdicts on those charges and will only consider the robbery charge.
The one-day Supreme Court trial saw three witnesses testify for the Crown, represented by Crown Counsel Charlene Scott, while three witness statements were read into court.
Darrell, represented by lawyer Mark Telemaque, did not testify.

The medical conditions of Percy Anderson, 30, of Warwick, and Jamal Bailey, 17, of Southampton, have been upgraded to satisfactory from critical condition.
The two men suffered serious head injuries in a crash near Spicelands Riding Centre, Warwick early on August 19.
The collision apparently occurred as one of the drivers was attempting to overtake a bus.
POLICE DISPOSE OF MINE POL Police dispose of mine The Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit this week yesterday assisted the Marine Police in the disposal of a drill mine.
The mine was discovered by a member of the public just after 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday off the South Shore in Devonshire.
It was pulled out of the water and onto the beach.
It measured approximately 18 inches in height and two inches in width. EOD officers secured the mine for subsequent disposal.

Agriculture and Fisheries director John Barnes said this week that applicants for the post were being interviewed.
The post, last held by Dr. Neil Burnie who resigned in September, 1996, has been under scrutiny recently.
It was originally set to be filled by Government trainee veterinary officer Susann Smith but she was let go from the department in April after failing a US licensing exam four times.
Dr. Smith -- a Bermudian -- has applied for the newly-advertised position.
Other locals are also understood to have applied for the position as well as some individuals from overseas.
BA FLIGHTS DIVERTS FLY BA flight diverts A British Airways flight en route to London from Antigua diverted to Bermuda after a passenger suffered chest pains.
Police said officials at the airport were alerted to the situation around 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
The plane arrived just after 1.20 a.m. and the 53-year-old woman was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
There she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit after complaining of shortness of breath. Last night she was listed in stable condition in the ICU.
PARKED CAR STRIPPED CRM Parked car stripped A Southampton woman who parked her car at the Airport while abroad returned to the Island to find parts missing from it.
Police said the victim left her Volkswagon Scirocco at the Airport's long-term parking area when she left on August 29.
When she returned to retrieve her car she noticed the passenger door was open, the mirrors were missing, and the front light fixtures were also gone.
