students an excellent learning opportunity in a protected environment. " Lebanon Valley is a very picturesque campus and it's in a safe, small town environment,'' said Susan Sarisky, the college's assistant director of admissions. "Academically, it's a very competitive, challenging school. We have 1,200 students, the classes are small and accessibility to faculty members is excellent.'' Every effort is made to make international students feel welcome, said Ms Sarisky, with scholarships awarded to those with high academic achievement. " Just by virtue of being an international student, they receive a scholarship which covers one-third of their tuition scholarship. Additionally, if they have ranked in the top ten percent of their class, the scholarship increases to cover half the tuition. "We have found it be to very successful,'' she said. "The students academic records are great and it helps offset the cost of tuition. Right now, we have between 20 and 30 international students who are benefitting from that scholarship. So students attending Lebanon Valley College can benefit academically and financially in an easily accessible location at a small, personable school.'' COLLEGE--UNIVERSITY FAIR MINI SUPPLEMENT SUP
