Sandys resident denies assault

A story in Monday's issue incorrectly stated that Sandys man Anthony Frank Poerstamper had been charged with breaking and entering, when he had been charged with unlawful entry.

A Sandys man has denied charges of breaking and entering and indecent assault.

Prosecutor Sgt. Peter Giles said that Police believe that offences concerning Anthony Frank Poerstamper, 34, of Daisyfield Drive, were related to the access to children.

Poerstamper is charged with indecent assault of Gina Richardson, attempting to enter the property of Richardson and entering onto her property despite a legal notice forbidding him to do so. His trial has been set for Tuesday, August 3.
