Seniors' week party launch

on Sunday will officially launch senior citizens' week.The opening ceremony takes place on Monday at CedarBridge Academy and special buses have been laid on for both events. On Sunday, buses leave Somerset bus station at 1.45 p.m.

The opening ceremony takes place on Monday at CedarBridge Academy and special buses have been laid on for both events. On Sunday, buses leave Somerset bus station at 1.45 p.m. and Hamilton bus terminal at 2.15 p.m.. On Monday, buses leave St. James' Church Hall in Somerset at 11 a.m., St. George's at 11 a.m., and Hamilton bus terminal at 11.30 a.m..
An "old fashioned games'' day takes place at North Village Field on Tuesday, and a jazz concert will be held at Victoria Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Friday will see a seniors' picnic at Shelly Bay, and the week culminates in a gala entertainment and tea day at Westmeath on Saturday afternoon.
