Magistrates' Court next week.

On trial, beginning Tuesday morning, will be a 41-year-old Southampton man who has denied sexually assaulting a woman last autumn.

The private prosecution against the man -- who cannot be named for legal reasons -- came after the Attorney General Chambers decided not to take action against the man, following a Police investigation into the woman's allegations.

Lawyer Saul Froomkin is representing the woman, while lawyer Marc Telemaque will defend the man.
