keep to court schedules.

The Wor. Cheryl-Ann Mapp said prosecutors at the Attorney General's chambers were getting in the habit of showing up when they felt like it.

Her scolding was delivered to Crown Counsel Mr. Melvyn Douglas, who was appearing on behalf of colleague Ms Sharon Kenny to arrange a date for a trial.

Mrs. Mapp asked Mr. Douglas where he had been at the start of the afternoon session in her courtroom, Court 3. He said he had been busy in another court.

"There are too many people in that chamber who are unable to come to the court,'' Mrs. Mapp told him.

"It's becoming a thing for the Attorney General's chambers to appear as and when they feel like it.''
