will have to go abroad for hospital treatment.
The vicious assault was just one of four separate attacks on Wednesday night.
Renee Barbara Joycelyn Kelly 17, of Hamilton Parish was sitting with her 24-year-old boyfriend, on the concrete benches in front of the City Hall car park.
Ms Kelly said she was "jumped from out of nowhere'' by another woman who approached from the direction of City Hall.
The attacker grabbed Kelly's head and bit her left ear tearing the lobe. Her damaged earlobe and cartilage can only be repaired using skin taken from other parts of her body. The incident occured around 10.30 p.m.
Kelly's mother recovered the ripped off skin in the vicinity of the attack. It is believed the woman who attacked her was upset at the termination of her relationship with Kelly's boyfriend.
The incident is still under investigation.
In other incidents, an 18-year-old man was awakened by six men who pulled him from his bed and beat him in the face. Police said it is believed the beating was in retaliation for an altercation that occurred earlier.
A Warwick man received a cracked rib and some bruises when he was punched in the chest by another man at a Southampton club.
And a Sandys Parish youth is today recovering from cuts to his knees and elbows and a swollen left cheekbone. He was allegedly beaten by an 18-year-old man who picked on him as he walked along Kitchener Road in Sandys. As a crowd gathered the assailant walked off.
