When Shopping For Christmas Presents...Let common sense be your guide: Divide your money between pockets before you leave home. If you are robbed, the thief is then unlikely to find all your money; Never count money in the street, and always keep your cheque book safe; Avoid overburdening yourself with heavy packages. Don't make yourself an easy target for criminals; Never leave presents in an unattended car in full view of strangers. Either cover your presents with a coat or towel, or better still, lock them away in the boot -- out of sight and out of mind; Ladies -- don't attract attention to yourselves by wearing expensive jewellery when you go out shopping; and Gentlemen -- don't walk around with your wallet in your back pocket.
