A tourist lost cash and a credit card after leaving his belongings on the Club Med beach at 3 p.m. last week. His bag, minus the cash and credit card, was found later in nearby bushes.

Quick-thinking tourists saved their backpack after a man rode up alongside their livery cycle and snatched the bag.

The incident happened last week when the two visitors were riding on Somerset Road. A 30-year-old Devonshire man was later arrested and remains in Police custody.
