Two new bands -- the Atlantic Watch Pipe Band from New York and the Celtic Cross Pipes and Drums from Danbury Connecticut -- will take part in the spectacle for the first time.

Additionally, the popular Lincoln and Welland Band from St. Catherine's, Ontario and the US Marine Corps Band from Cherry Point, North Carolina will also make an appearance along with the Bermuda Regiment Band and Corps of Drums, the Bermuda Regiment Silent Drill Team and the Regiment's Attack Squad.

The Tattoo runs from November 13 through November 15, 1997 from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. each night. On Saturday the festivities will culminate with a grand finale complete with fireworks.

Tickets go on sale throughout the island on Tuesday October 13. Adult tickets are $15 while children's cost $5. Senior citizens can purchase tickets at $5 for the opening night's performance only.
