Youth Minister the Hon. Pamela Gordon said yesterday.

Senator Gordon told a Party press conference that she and the Premier were following up suggestions from a youth summit held earlier this year.

She and Sir John Swan had spoken to young people the length and breadth of the Island, she said.

Government was organising programmes run by young people themselves. It was working on the one-stop "Door'' concept of a youth centre for family, alcohol and drug problems.

And Government will reduce the age of majority, which now stops under-21s buying a house.
